General Code of Conduct
1. Students should attend all classes regularly and punctually.
2. Students coming late to the class by more than five minutes will not be given attendance for that period.
3. Students with less than 75% attendance will not eligible to write the Semester Examinations of University.
4. Proper Dress code should be worn by students. Shorts / three-fourths pants should be avoided on the premises. Girls & Boys should be decently dressed.
5. Canteen is meant for the lunched purpose of during and should not be used for academic or recreational activities
6. Misbehaviours inside canteen is an offence and is punishable.
7. Cell phones will not be permitted to be used inside the College Campus. Any violation in this regard will be entitled appropriate action.
8. Eating and chewing in the classroom during class hours is strictly prohibited.
9. Students found to have caused any damage to the assets of the college will be punished severely besides being penalized for the cost of damages.
10. Students are expected to read notices/ circulars displayed on the College Notice Board.
11. Spitting, Smoking and throwing bits of paper inside the college campus is prohibited.
12. Students are forbidden from entering the College office and the staff rooms during unspecified hours.
13. Students are prohibited from damaging the building or any other property of the college in any way. The cost any of any damage shall be recovered from students collectively.
14. Representation of Complaints and grievances may be made individually to the Principal through the Class teacher concerned or Discipline – cum – Grievance Committees.
15. Ragging and Eve teasing is considered as a crime and strictly prohibited by an act by Government any student indulges in any form inside the College premises or outside, he/she will be expelled from the College Students are liable to lose their term for disobedience, misconduct, misbehaviour or for any act of indiscipline. Students must take proper care of all the college property. Any damage done to the property of the college by disfiguring walls, doors, windows, fittings, furniture and such other things is a breach of discipline and will be considered a punishable offence.
Specific Rules for Discipline
1. Each student of this college must possess Identity Card with his/her photograph affixed on it, duly attested by the Principal. The students must compulsorily wear the Student Identity Card inside the College Campus.
2. Use of Mobile phones within the College Campus is strictly banned. Violation of this rule by any student would result in impounding of the Cell phone and strict disciplinary action against the students.
3. The students shall observe strict discipline and silence in the class irrespective of the presence or absence of the faculty members.
4. No student is permitted to leave the classroom during class hours.
5. Students are expected to use only courteous and polite language and behave with decorum with the faculty members and the staff of the college.
