Celebrated vachan Prerna divas for M.C.E.S English Medium School. ( 15th Oct 2020)On the occasion of former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary, October 15,the state government has urged all the schools, colleges, and offices to observe ‘VachanPrerna Divas’ (Inspire to reading Day). Claiming that technology and gadgets have almost over the habit of reading, the government has urged educational institutions to develop ideas and programs to, once again, cultivate the habit of reading among youngsters. The department of higher and technical education has mooted the plan to observe ‘No gadget day’ once a month, wherein students will be urged not to use any form of social media platforms.
We celebrated this day in our school M.C.E.S English Medium School on 15 October 2020 most of the students participated by giving speeches on different reading stuff like magazine story books newspapers etc.
